I’d been reluctant for years to put any of my work out. I feared rejection, criticism, mediocrity… Levi Maestro’s web series changed that. His comfort in his craft is mesmerizing. Maestro reminded me that part of being an artist is having the confidence to consistently put out vulnerable work. Some of it will be a hit, some of it may flop. That’s not the point. The point is to constantly create and remind the world that you exist, that your voice will echo somewhere, confidently and proud. That consistently creating is, in itself, a masterpiece. His intern John Liwag showed the series some love on Maestro’s site.
